Take a Bite, and a Sip, Out of Crime

Of course you know that wine is good for your health. But did you know that wine can help save your life in more ways than one? This story was just too good not to share.

I know that wine always relaxes me. But I never dreamed it could calm down even the most hardened criminals. Is there no end to the benefits of wine consumption? Thanks to Emily for sending me this one!

Wow! I haven't bought bordeaux in years due to the poor price/value ratio. But this is a new wrinkle. I may have to obtain a few Chateau Malescot St-Exupery for, er, security purposes.

Or maybe not... (2000 Chateau Malescot St. Exupery Margaux - $89.99 - WineAccess.com per Google). JD, how do you define robbery? ;-)

A great tale never-the-less.

Tony, I share your concern about Bordeaux prices, though wine that manages to sooth the savage breast may be worth any price. Seriously, that's why, since the 2000 vintage, I buy only a representative bottle or two of good vintages. Makes you pine for the "good old days."

That's the "benefits of wine consumption" link I was looking for. There's a donate-your-body-to-science calculator I posted about today and it demoted my worth because I drink wine! How unjust! Surely I should've checked your post before I posted mine!
